Wambede this is this best film yet. Thank you. I presume that these farmers are not part of Gumutindo Coffee co-op and therefore they don’t have access to the advice and support of their agricultural extension workers? It strikes me that farmers are OK when the weather is kind and predictable but that as soon as it started to change they’ve struggled to cope. What really struck me when I viasited is that there is no culture of composting. People regularly burn their organic waste – and yet a big cause of the drop in yields must be the overworking of the soil. I know that our NGO partners explain the benefits of composting as part of their work – it would be an interesting contrast if you were to film farmers that have been supported and who are able to cope with the changes. Please keep up the good work
Thanks again

It is an interesting point about the lack of composting culture in Uganda. This is also something I have noticed and will start discussing with people in Bbowa.
Thanks for the informative video.
